Default Good news!! check these out!

after MONTHS adn MONTHS of people saying "no those are boring stock cast iron heads" i have the proof to PROVE those ******* wrong!!! they aint!!! their nice edelbrocks and im pretty sure their aluminum! check the photos !! in the upclose pick u can see the"..rock" of edelbrock tilting sideways, and then theres a pic of the shinyness
*update*
this is the new pic i got, i cleaned the heads up, im assuming their aluminum because a magnet did not stick to the heads..info on head:

edelbrock

Right on! It's always sweet to stumble on something like that. It is like having an '01 LS1 and finding it has an LS6 intake and springs installed (a few late '01s like this are out there, almost all '02s).

I thought ALL post - '00 LS1's had the LS6 intake? I KNOW all '02's do.......or at least I have read it enough to think so.

2001-2002 had the LS6 intake

a few 2001-2002 F-bodys had an LS6 block (just the block not all the internals and such)

lol my address....no way! haha well my uncle who originally bought the car down in cali for me kept telling me they were aluminum heads, i never really thought they were...people on thirdgen.org kept saying if its a rebuit/swapped motor the previous owner would never put on heads and all this B/S...so i finally started looking around (After a year) and i finally found an angle i could see one of my heads(most are covered and hidden behind pulleys etc.) and i stuck my hand scrubbed off all the grime and saw edelbrock..kept scrubbing and finally got all the info....

my cars gotta have 300(+?)rwhp its got like 360+ ft/lbs
its definitly a quick car..especially for me, 17 and all

Just as a barameter, my LS1, with long tube headers, true dual exhaust, new ported throttle body, cold air intake, lid, computer tune and various other bolt ons only dynoed at 357 rwhp and 367 rwtq. I would say get your car dyno'd if you want to get an accurate output rating.

That is actually pretty respectable for a 3rd gen took me a few years to get my 4th gen over that mark!

No doubt, best 3rd gen I ever had was about 225 to the rear wheels. But it was with a mildly modded TPI motor, not a carbed 350......
