Well finally got the Z28 out to the Track...Bone Stock 121,000 miles, street tires (coppers) and 3.23 gears.
New Opti Spark, water pump, plugs and wires. No options and no A/C.

1st pass
R/T .322 (suck)
60 2.117
330 6.020
1/8 9.210 at 77.57
1000 11.942
1/4 14.250 at 97.00

2nd pass
R/T .429 (suck more)
60 2.078
330 5.991
1/8 9.185 at 77.29
1000 11.922
1/4 14.228 at 97.70
HOT LAP
3rd Pass
R/T .112 (eh)
60 2.116
330 6.014
1/8 9.194 at 77.70

So I am pretty happy, some sticky tires and exhaust and I will see 13's.
So he gave me 10 bucks.

I know, once I get my reaction time down I should pick up some good points for the team!
Nittos on Tuesday, Racing on Friday!
Ellis you were just about dead nuts on. I didn't believe when I saw the slip. I almost ****. A bone stock 121,000 mile car. Awesome!

Nice!

I felt the same way when I first ran the LT1 C4 I had... completely stock, 84k HARD miles on it... it was in what I call 'tired' condition. Ran 3 times, and ran 13.83, 13.86, 13.86. Talk about a consistant car for CCC...

Too bad it was a POS... I really liked that car... would have liked it even more if it didn't keep having stuff go bad on it.

Glad to hear its working out, Mike! Its always good to start out at the low end of number... it makes getting to the next number a lot easier... LOL Its like instant gratification! Dropping from a low 14 to a 13 is cake

You know what else, I am running 20W50 in that thing and It had a full tank of gas.
I should easily see 13's with tires.
