I love the blue angels. best thing about seafair! My building is right in the flight path so I'm up on the roof every chance I get to watch em.

Just got back from outside watching as well. I'm on the other end in the SODO area. Constantly flying directly over us!

Great photo.

That's cool how they fly over the city on display.

I wish I could claim it as my pic, but I found it on the net.

My buddy lives in Seward Park so I can go and watch for free or I'd be all over those tics Jason.

I work for a local media outlet, just off fairview and john street, a few blocks south of the mercer exit. Kitty corner to the 13 coins.

I was driving down I-5 last year while working and heard this enormous roar above me. Then they just blasted over the top of us. I almost drove off the road.

I'm sure thats why they close I90 when they fly over. People would be a little distracted and then a 50 car pile up and closed all day...

I watched 3 of Paul Allen's old warbirds take off from Arlington today. P-40, P-47 and a P-51. They took off, formed up, and did a close formation fly-by on the way to Boeing field for an FAA inspection, if they make in thru the inspection they will be flying for seafair. The sound of the 2 big radials and the V-12 Merlin flying together gave me goosebumps.

That looks like fun, but I'd rather be racing personally!

BTW, that is a great picture you found.

I work kitty corner to Jason. They litterally blow the doors off the building when they fly over. (I work in a door and window store in Seattle -- no pun intended).

The Blue Angles ROCK! When I used to work at Boeing Field we'd get to watch them do their pre-flight & take off. They do EVERYTHING in formation, right down to walking out to the planes, starting the engines, flipping their flaps up & down, and then take off. It's quite a sight to see them all line up on the runway, nail it & take off as one unit!

I want to go down and watch them take off and land one day. That is one thing I have yet to see them do.

No worries sideways, we don't care about hijacking around these parts.

How about some shots of '67 Chevelle's.
