It's safety wired together. What a monster. Looks like a pretty good sized oil tube feeding the bearings.
When I ran and tested the emergency generator at the north creek plant both turbos would glow entirely cherry red after it was fully loaded up, as would the whole intake tract for the motor. 1100hp V8 Cat Diesel. The bearings for the turbos had 5/8" oil feed lines. It was ****** awesome!

Did you see Modern Marvels "Horsepower" episode on The History Channel, they showed a container ship diesel that made 100,000 HP, you could walk into the crankcase. They must have had a 6ft throw on the cranks. Some rediculously low rpm.
