Default Anyone want to help me and a fellow F-bod owner, beers involved.

I have been talking to 19torch99 about swapping out his lowering springs for my stockers. Anyone want to help up do the switch? All we need is a place to do it and the right tools and a helping hand. I'll throw in some beer...

if there is a place to work it's fine with me. I live in an appt. complex, so no real working on cars for me. Also I don't really have all the tools, but I can rent a spring compressor from schucks. If torch has a place where we can work on cars, I don't mind driving down there. if you can hold off for a couple weeks (like 3) then I can pick up some shocks to go along with the springs. and I can probably have an alignment done. how long can you go before you really need one?

So any ideas Torch? If you do have a place to work on cars, I don't mind the drive. And I had a question for Don, would you be interested in giving that alighnment bench of yours so more work, for say a 12 pack and some home made cookies??? Made from scratch by my mom.

I have a garage at my place so that won't be a problem at all. The townhouse community I'm in makes us work on our cars inside the garage w/ the garage door shut. It's a little tight in there w/ the door shut so I think we'll leave it open until I get yelled at haha. And I'm perfectly okay w/ waiting 3 weeks to get this all done, I'm in no rush.

Not sure about having one there to "entertain" us, but why not hit up a joint after?

You doing fronts and rears? If so you need a strut comrpessor for the front and you'll need to seprate the ball joint as well. The rears are a peice of cake. unbolts the shocks and I think thats it. Cant remember if I had to drop the lca's and phb as well. Either way its a peice of cake. The springs just sit on there. The fronts can be a little hairy depending on your strut compressor. Rent a good one

Hey, I just got some feedback on wether or not I needeed to change my shocks right away. The consensus is that I don't really need to right away, which is good because I want to put on some Koni SA's, so now I don't need to buy 2 sets within a year. So anytime your ready to do the swap I'm fine. I think if you want to though, 2 weeks from now would be perfict so I can get an alighnment that weekend.

Looks like it's going down at my place. If you'd like, we can shoot for Saturday 04/21. My place is extremely easy to get to, I live right at the end of 167. Anybody who is coming shoot me a PM and I'll fire back some directions.

Can't wait to be ridin' high

But the sound of LT headers and True duals w/ Dynomax bullets should make of for the decrease of sexy looks of my car!
