Larry DeCamp sent some email last week to the PNWCC members which had a blurb describing a mini car show at the Tolt Middle School in Carnation. Angie and I followed up with the school and got more details.
Basically, they are looking for 10-12 people to bring their cool cars, classic or modern (or motorcycles) down to Tolt Middle School in Carnation on Friday 5/18, at 3pm. The school is having a "social" for the kids after school that day. Basically we'd park the cars, hang out in the parking lot and answer questions from the kids. The social ends at 5pm.
We are attending, but we haven't decided which vehicles to bring yet (we also have two Harleys). Probably the Z28 and Impala SS. Another friend of ours, who lives in Monroe might bring his Harley.
If you live in or near the Seattle area, and you can peel away for 2 hours on a Friday afternoon, this would be a fun way to show off your toys. If nothing else, do it for the kids, man. ;-)
If you want to participate, send me some PM and I'll get you hooked up with the Tolt Middle School contact.

Our hand-held currently only supports 99+ LS1. GM used a different PCM in 1997 and 1998 on the LS1, and we haven't gotten around to implementing support for that PCM yet. In contrast, GM used the same PCM from 99-06 on all Gen III V8s (with the minor exception of changing the EEPROM size in 2003, or 2004, depending on if it was an LS1 or truck motor), so we prioritized the 99+ LS1 first.
The other challenge is if we went and developed the 97/98 support, could we find someone with a 97/98 LS1 that would like to help test it? ;-)
