Thumbs up I finished my garage

Here's the before and after. Now I have to save for cabinets.

Floor = from Premier Garage, Walls = 2 coats of paint, Wall bottom = rubber.

Looks good, Nick. I wish I could do that to mine but I would need to rent a building to take all of the stuff out of my garage that needs to be moved in order to do it.

The floor was $5.38 per sq/ft sales tax included. It's a 8 step process:

1) They wash the concrete

2) They sand it with very tiny steel spheres and after they're done they pick them up with a giant magnet.

3) The concrete then gets treated with a moisture barrier product.

4) After 3 days, they fill in all the cracks and imperfections by hand.

5) After that, they apply a gray liquid proprietary polymer.

6) Then comes the paint chips that you can pick from several colors and sizes - they toss them around the floor on top of that still wet polymer, almost 1 inch of those paint chips all over. I picked the black/white 1/4 inch.

7) On the next day they come over and pick up all the loose chips with a vacuum and a blower.

8) They apply the clear coat resin (which is the polymer without any color) and you can park the cars after 2 days.

Cookba no tool boxes yet I'll put some cabinets for storage when my wallet gets to say yes again.

I got some cabinets and counter top at the Habitat for Humanity store. 2 lower cabinets, 3 upper cabinets and a 10' section of countertop for $85. Might want to see if they have something around you.

Is that pole strategically placed so as to not run into the water heater with your car? The one in my garage annoys the **** out of me because I'd like to get the car in another few inches so I can walk around the back of it.

The floor looks killer although I'm not sure I can justify $7700 to do the floor in my new shop!

Agreed - that floor is sick and I'm insanely jealous... maybe we can get a group discount going?

Yup, it was put there by the home builders, seems to be a code thing. I wanted to weld another golden piece all the way to the ceiling and bring some hooter girls home but the wife vetoed that project.

BTW that's the spot for the Murano so I still have space behind the car.

Look into VCT (vinyl composition tile). Looks better IMO and will never delaminate or flake like Epoxy is prone to doing. Although I must say from the professional level install above that tendency may be negated. VCT does require upkeep from time to time to keep it looking real nice but the longevity of the product and the cost is what I based my decision on. I ended paying a little under a $1 a square foot including the adhesive and tools plus I did it my self. 1000 sq ft garage. If anyone is interested I have pics.

^^ Nice! Post pics if you can. My floor isn't epoxy... it's a proprietary resin or something. Premiere Garage claims they're the only ones who have this product.
