Default Hunting season!!!!

Anyone going?? It starts on the first.. Me and my buddy got permission to hunt on this old guys land, It looks pretty promissing. Put up the tree stand yesterday, while 7 deer munched on grass all around us. No horns on any of them, But we have seen a few that have...

So if your hunting Post up!!! Tell me your plans, I mean not down to mijor details, but feel us in on how you are going to try and feel your tag.

I can't kill Bambi myself, but all the guys in my family hunt. Here are some pictures I took at my Parents house 2 weeks ago. No, they aren't going to shoot any of these deer I counted 5 Bucks, 5 Does and 7 fawns. But it was pretty hard to keep track of them all.



They were sparring..a bit early, so it might have been practice..


Twins?!




The one on the right is the biggest one. I call him moose.

I got 3 by 3. Blacktail.... He poped out of the trail my treestand was facing, and walked directly under me. And that was all she wrote. My people that I work with are allready lovin it. I made a big pot of chili yesterday afternoon. They are eating it up like crazy.

Ah, the joys of fresh meat. Even liver tastes good when it's fresh(as in no more than 24 hours old and not frozen).

You archery guys definitely get the choice hunting times/places. High power is a whole different ball game.

Thats because most people cant hunt archery, or they think it is to hard, and choose to gun hunt. But depending on what kind of a hunter you are, archery is very challenging, but way more rewarding once you get a kill....
