Thank you...

Quick question though....I bolted the MTi lid on right before I got on the dyno.....A friend of mine mentioned that it might take a while for the car to get used to it or for the ecu to compensate for the better airflow and that the car may make a little more power once it does that......

Is there any truth in that?

Seems to work great......I've had quite a few people mention they are very impressed with the #'s I put down compared to the few amount of mods I've got...........

Thanks for throwin the lid on there for me and I think you are officially the first person I've met from the NW LS1Tech crew.....

Next up is a built 12 bolt......Then its time for a cam and a tune:D

Seems like pretty big numbers for what it has, know what gear it was done in?

My wife's dyno'd 308/348 iirc and was kind of disappointed with the HP #. Was told it was running a bit rich and when doing the headers it did look like there was a little more going in than needed to be, so after a little tune and the headers and lid should put out some better #'s.

4th gear pull........

What year is her LS1?

I've got full synthetic fluids as well......Its been said that helps.......Royal Purple in the coolant, motor, trans, and rear diff.

01, has synthetic fluids in it, though they were probably worn out, they were due for a chance, not sure if it could have had much inpact.

Have the LT headers, Lid and a tune to help with the rich problem. Will throw it on the dyno after we pull it out of storage and see if the #'s change much.

What are full bolt-on #'s usually? Thought I remember seeing usually around 340 - 350 range.

Good idea to save up for the rear end, that way one of these times down the track it doesn't go boom over here at SRP and you have everyone mad at you. :D I tell my wife I hope it goes on her because if it happened to her people wouldn't be mad hopefully, they would all think it was cool a girl was out there drag racing something other than a Honda. :jest:

Those are not bad numbers, I have an A4 With a some what of a big stall. Stock gears, and all of the mods in my sig, I pulled 319 hp and I think 324 tq

Yeah, I'm hopin to have a new rearend under it before I visit SRP again this year....As long as SRP opens up again that is.

I've had a few people mention that I have a strong running LS1 if I'm making those kinds of numbers so I'm definitely pleased.

Has anyone else dyno'd at CarbConn? Is their Dynojet known for giving high numbers?

Ws6man2000 Dec 28, 2007 08:57 PM

well you might as well go with a s60 if you plan on doing a heads and cam car.. People break 12 bolts ask ellis and i am sure he isnt the only one here that has broke one
