Default New best.... But not yet there..

Well went to Brem today, got to meet some really cool people.. Had fun, besides waiting to only run the car 3 times... Sucks!!!

My first pass I fell asleep at the tree, and really didn't even pre-stall, I launched at 1300 rpms. I pulled a 12.22 at a 112 1.84 60ft

My second race I was lined up with Crisis in his newly cammed GTO. He was paying attention to me, and I was paying attention to him. lol. He red lighted and I got a .201 reaction time. ha ha, crappy I know. But I still had a good run. I pulled a 12.05 @ 114.41 1.77 60ft

Then my last pass of the day I got a 12.04 @ 114.9 1.77 60ft.

If I would have taken my front sway bar and disconnected the right rear shock, I would probibly have gotten a 11 second pass. Sooooo close, yet so far away... lol. Next time. I will be a Cam only n/a 11 second car around... Will be nice. lol. Also, I have some suspension stuff still waiting to be put on the car, my LCA's and relocation brackets, and also some SFC's.

Damn nice cam only. I'm glad you guys got the chance to finish that tune up...The mile an hour is real good for an auto/cam combo with weight!!!

A SS4000 verter would knock a couple more tenths.

I don't think the mph is that good with an auto with mild weight... maybe I'm crazy but you should have been running 116mph minimum. It's all in the tune...won't say much more though, need to find a tuner.

Nice, was that with the fats in the rear? Get that suspension in and you should be there.

That's Great times for a Cam only! Great Job!

Sounds like you had fun even though you only got to run 3 runs...You'll get many more runs through the season and I'm just guessing that it'll be into the 11's very soon.

A little bit better 60 and your 11.xx run will be had. Check the time in my sig, 115mph, and I agree, you'll have a little more mph when you get it dialed in, as mine was a stick. It's only going to get faster/quicker from now on. Good job though, congrts.

Nice Lane....11's are there, keep trying. Disconnect the RR shock? Where did you get that idea? Maybe put an air bag inside the spring....you want that corner HARD, not loose!

^^^I heard it by the Scuttlebutt!!!! ha ha.

Yeah the next time I am at the track, I will break into the 11's. Once my suspension is on, and I can get rid of some much needed extra weight on this thing, I will good to go.

Not totally true, look around some and you will see a lot of the Cam only guys that are even lighter in weight than me, and running the same or even a lower Trap Speed.

MPH is generally thought of as a HP indicator, but it's also related to how much tire spin you get off the line. More spin usually = more mph, but worse ET. ET wins the race....

That's really good! Just a fart away from the 11's. Next time eat some chili before you go, and you'll have that little extra boost! The question is, do you use it on the starting line or at the end?

Starting line pays bigger then the top end
