Hood is on...
And I must say, a well spent $600!!! I was worried what a freshly painted hood would look like sitting on my 9yr old paint job, but to the naked it, it seems my paint has held up pretty well. Still need to buy some vents for the grill, but other than that, it definitely made me fall in love w/ the car all over again. Here is a before and after:

Thanks for all the compliments guys, greatly appreciated! I forgot to mention that the guy who did the work was awesome. He had TONS of toys on his lot, dune buggies, jacked up trucks, a sweet 50's truck w/ a chopped top w/ a brand new big block sitting in it. He does all his body work and paint himself and has been doing it for years. Just for s*%^s and giggles I asked what he would charge to paint my whole car pearl white and he walked around my car, asked if I wanted engine bay and jams......and quoted me $2500. I have no idea what the average is to paint a full car. $2500 seemed like a pretty good deal to me for a custom paint job.

$2500 is with engine bay and jams?
If that hood has no fisheyes, runs, dust, etc etc....
then
$2500 is an absolute steal!
Either way you got a screamin deal on that hood and on the paintjob.
