It is a pretty crazy video though. Thankfully no one else was under that awning or it would have been tragic and darn near for the owner of the truck.

It's been going around the web, even saw it on King5 today.

Look at the bottom of the pillars when it tips, doesn't even look like it was anchored to the ground haha!

Are you kidding me? I bet they find all sorts of things wrong with the construction and design of that structure. Shouldn't have fallen over so friggin easy.

I tend to agree with you there but why is it that we have to make structures strong enough for guys to drive 5th wheels into them and survive?

Instead of spending money on making buildings stronger, can we make people less stupid?

That awning went over like it was propped up by unmounted 2x4s. It clearly could not support the weight when a bit of torsion was applied. Stupidity aside, all concerned are damned lucky there were no other vehicles under it at the time going about their business.
