4th Annual Camaro vs Mustang vs Firebird ..CMF RACE!!


Well it's that time of the year when we are all hoping to start going rounds and have fun Drag racing at ESTA!

May 23, 2010 is the date selected for the CMF shoot out! This race is open to all Firebirds, Mustangs and Camaros.. no matter what the year..... or how fast or how slow they go.... and of course both ...male and female drivers invited! You must have a current registration, inspected and possess a current drivers license. All legal DOT tires including Drag Radials are allowed (except bald ones and snow tires), exhaust must exit thru the mufflers ..... Street legal exhaust. You must also meet all NHRA and ESTA safety requirements for the equipment installed on your vehicle. Your vehicle must be tech inspected at ESTA before you are allowed to race.

ESTA WILL PAY $300.00 TO THE WINNER........
Runner up money is based on the number of entries and round money starting with 3rd round entries......winner and runners up do not receive round money. No buy backs allowed. Entry fee is $25!

We are also looking for any and I mean any type of donated door prizes motor oil etc
Rules for safety are very similar to the other street classes at ESTA..here are some basics.......
13.99 and quicker requires a current safety helmet. no shorts, tank tops or sandal type shoes.
13.49 seconds and quicker require a roll bar in a CONVERTIBLE and 11.49 and quicker in all other vehicles.
No Electronics or Trans brakes allowed.
if you choose to run NOS, a non factory turbo or non factory supercharger... you need a legal fire jacket minimum no matter how fast or slow you run.

We usually have 25-30 cars for this race but with the new Camaros and Mustangs ..we would like to hit 40 entries this year. If by chance we get rained out, we will hold the race on a future date to be posted
