I've been getting my car ready for a period of months to have it ready for this event and to race with everyone. I didn't expect my motor to go out 1 month before the event . With a little luck and some good planning, I hope to be attending WITH the car. I like this big gatherings, Bowling Green was a blast last year!

Oh yeah, I've been conditioning my alcohol tolerance as well, you boys better be ready!

You drink 40 oz's?

On a side note, didn't you have problems with your 382 just before NFRA last year? If so, then maybe you are cursed before a Big Event?

My car has been running for a year now, and I finally have to break down and buy a cage for this event.

I think safety is a big deal. With all the wrecks and deaths this season I think it should be on everyone's mind. just my opinion though.

I have a little 98 camaro. I street race it alot so i really never wanted a cage in it. People always get scared of cars with cages. Also, it is my daily driver so I always thought it would be uncomfortable to get in and out of. Is it?

Sure wish someone could post up what cages would be legal to the various ET's that might be run.

down to
11.99
10.99
9.90
9.50

Or whatever the ET breaks down to(and mph).

Darkhorse, 10.00 to 11.99 requires a 5-point cage (passenger side bar not required). You will also need a firejacket and a 5-point harness for that range. Driver's side bar may be removable.

9.99 and faster requires a 10-point pain in the ***, inside the dash cage. BIG commitment for a street car, I'll pass
