Any street racing going to take place befor the thunder shootout friday night? Just curious if there are any major street racing spots in the area? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: Any street racing going to take place befor the thunder shootout friday night? only place i could really tell you to find some would be Mrs. Goldies on Florida Blvd. someone at the hotel should be able to give you directions. the cops out that way aren't too bad. they'll pull you over but long as yur kool and don't weave through traffic and hit insanely high speeds they'll let you off with a warning.
be careful racing on airline in BR. however if you wanna make a short drive to gonzales or even a little further down airline past sorrento you can go all nite long, no worries.

Re: Any street racing going to take place befor the thunder shootout friday night? I'm sure something could be done. We usually "get together" on saturday nights about midnight in BR. One thing to remember is that No problem raceways will have a TNT lane for us that want to do alittle grudge racing at the track. My guess is that if anything happens outside the track it will be on saturday night like usual. You need to be at the track at 7-8 am saturday so it will be hard to race all night. ONe thing is your waaaay out in the middle of nowhere so lots of back roads. But I have no idea how the cops are out there. I know that you guys need to be carefull on the road going to no problem raceway. I think the locals keep up with the events going on and set up some speed traps.

Goldies is the LAST place you wanna race nowadays. Cops are on that place like stink on ****. They are hounding us pretty bad at all the places we go. We have a few places still left that aren't as bad but,,,,,,,,
I actually hope Goldies burns down. Rick is a *****!!!!!!

but good luck on finding somewhere to play. idea: what's wrong with the track? it'll be open for regular friday bracket racing...

Re: Any street racing going to take place befor the thunder shootout friday night? hey guys be care ful going to the track the cops are going to be out especially in st charles parish st james and st john parish be especially carefull through napolianville which is the town rite next to bell rose la. and guys there are plenty of street racing spots here in new orleans i will be racing in street stock auto with my blue 02 ss im a local here and no problem is a damm good track hooks well.
