This is going to be an LS1Tech event, so does that mean only LS1/LS6 cars/trucks will be running in these index classes?

We'll allow LS1/LS6 and Gen III trucks, and LT1/LT4 power'd stuff too.

It is a small track in South Carolina but it hooks like no other track I have seen/heard of:
www.carolinadragway.com
it is in the 'woods' but it is BAD!! it is not the scale of an HRP or Commerce(Atlanta) but some good racing and I bet he would be interested in hosting something like this. the SVT club has an event there 2X a year and they invite some GM guys down, that is how i know of the place.

Alot of guys run at Silver Dollar Raceway in GA but I am not a fan of the place, to slippery!!

At Carolina they prep the track after about 5 cars not matter tire type...you will not hear a complaint on traction!!

let me know if there is anything I can help with.

UUUUP! I figure by March 2003, I will fit perfectly in the 11.00 index. I may even have to slow the car down just a hair. I'll have the car setup to run 11.0x's all day, so you'd better tune the car for a tighter margin Tony.

Keep us updated guys! We'll try to bring a bunch of cars with us from Lubbock!

If the timing were right I could hit both an Atlanta event when I'm at school and an East coast event when I'm home for the summer.

Sounds like a great plan to have a couple races - but as mentioned before - Commerce in Atlanta isn't worth the time. Try SilverDollar Raceway or Carolina - both about 2 hours from atlanta - and much better tracks.
