Why not setup a few LS1Tech events, one weekend every other month or so. Starting in March ending in October. Move them around the country like SLP day. Sound familiar? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

First event is planned for River City Raceway, in Seguin TX (near San Antonio)
Second event is planned for Chicago
We are kicking the idea around for an event in either Atlanta or Florida. Of course, we would need some volunteer help for either of those....but we have some nice moderators right?

We can do other locations but we need help on those since neither Tony or I live in Florida or California.
Figure LS1Tech MW race would be at US41 since I have rented that track out quite a few times.

Hey PSJ, what kind of help you need??? Im game to help organize something in Florida. Orlando, Brandenton or Gainesville are probably your best choices. Hey will these be two day events or one. I could see a bigger draw for 2-day events for the peolple from out of town. It kind of stinks to travel for a one day event. Just let me know!!!

Index classes on a Pro Tree. This will make the racing more fair since it isn't about showcasing particular vehicle setups. The races should be very close in each index, heads up.
Weatherguy, your car will fit for sure. With index racing you either spend a little more, add some HP (Jet up!), drop some weight, etc... to be the quickest in your index class, or you simply do the opposite, detune, add weight etc.. to slow the car down so that it is the quickest in the next class. Every car can participate in index events.
For example, I could gut my car, throw in a TH350/brake and run the 10.00 index (dial it in for 10.10s), or I could just add weight, shift sooner, and run in the 11.00 class (dial it in to run 11.10s all day). Easy.

Re: LS1Tech Racing Series? Could be....
Yeah two-day is way too pricey a commitment, that's why I did not do a 2002 NFRA race. At this point I'd rather have 2-4 one-day races than be on the hook for a two-day event where I buy out the track's entire weekend, that's like a $15K commitment on our part.
Heads up index racing with straightforward rules.
