Just wondering who will be staying there for the Thunder Shootout?

That's where I'm staying. I'll be at the track Friday night for a little TNT action, but I'm up for some good BS sessions that night.

I don't know if we're going to check in at the hotel first, or just head straight to the track when we get in town (I guess it will depend on the time). Anybody know how far the hotel is from the track? I hear different things.

Is that the one in Gonzales on Hwy 30 right off of I-10. If it is I live in that area and can tell you it is about 30 mins max from there. I can make it in 20. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I'll be there in my 01 Yellow Silverado as well as some of the other truck guys.

My husband and I have a room there at the Plantation Inn for Friday and Saturday night. We plan to stop and check in, put our bags up and then head to the track. See roll call post in the Lounge.

Geoff and I will be staying at the Plantation Inn Friday night also. Since I have to be at the track so early, I figured 15 minutes was a lot easier than 45 (from my house)
