anyone? |
well if i remember correctly the fenders are polyurathene plastic, not to sure about the bumpers some yrs were polyurathene some went to TPO/TPE/TEO the most important thing to remember about plastic to identify the type of plastic your working on, polyurathene is yellow on the inside now that plastic is a non offlien plastic which mean it does not need a adheshion promoter for a product to stick and bond too TPO/TPE/TEO/PP are thermo-set offlien plastics which need a adheshion promoter for anything to stick and bond too |
before i go on, and give you more help i need a pic so i can type ouot the correct repair for the type of crack and plastic |
bumper and fenders are yellow |
ok then its polyuarthene get me some pics and we go from there |
Well I looked at one of my newer ones and it was black plastic. the 93-7s are yellow. Heres some pics. The green one is a 94 and silver one is 99. |
2 Attachment(s) sorry pics didnt attach the first time |
dude i hate to tell ya but your better off buying a new fender or a used from a junk yard in my eyes beyond repair |
^^^^^like he said those 2 100% junk. |
the fenders I need to repair are not those the pics are just to show the type of material. I need to repair the bottom attachment point where it goes into an "L" and attaches at the lower part of rocker/subframe. Both fenders have a crack in them at the L. |
ook so why dont ya post pics of the actual fenders that needs repair, not of different fenders PICTURES OF THE FENDERS ON YOUR CAR |
