Clear coat fail Q's?

Here is a 2002 Camaro SS I've been looking at. 6 Speed, 68k miles. Car is clean but the clear is failing on the hood and spoiler. I've been told by some that the clear should be fixable but am VERY doubtful and think it will need a complete repaint. Your thoughts?

My car is doing the same thing. Was also told by a few painters that it is fixable, haven't bit the bullet yet on the repair though..

Well worse case scenario is the hood and spoiler would need to be repainted. That doesn't sound too costly to me. Depends on how cheap you get the car I guess.

Take the car to a good shop and get a quote on getting it repaired, then use that to Jew them on the price
