Cut and buff ques.? I just finished painting my engine compartment and have some orange peel to get out....I was wondering what is a good product to use in this process... I know im going to have to sand it down, but not sure what type of compound and finisher would be good to use...Just want to see what you all use...
In an engine compartment there are hardly any flat areas, making it very difficult to sand and buff. It can be done, but it's way easier to scuff it with a grey scotchbrite and re-clear it.
Sand the obviously orange-peeled areas with some 800 or 1000 and scotchbrite the rest.
