What's the best HVLP gun to use?

I bought a SS spoiler and it's black and I want to paint it. I've got a 25 gal compressor. I need to get a moisture separator and a HVLP paint gun to get busy.

I'm in need of some suggestions for the HVLP gun and moisture separator.

and a bigger compressor unless it has adual stage pump! i use SATA or Graco 3M guns but really any HVLP gun you can find at a paint supply store will spray good enough for the small stuff your spraying.unless you want to drop between $3-500 for a gun...spray between 30-35psi for base and closer to 40 for clears

harbor freight sells a good water air seperator for like $35 bucks..i use it at my house and painted many of car parts with it..i never get water

The faq say 20cfm at 90psi, so what size compressor is that typically?

i use sata`s
base coat-1.3-1.4
clear coat-1.4-1.5
primer- 1.5-1.8
sealer-1.4-1.5

todays high solid material needs the correct air cap and nozzle for the material to atomize, use the wrong size tips and air pressure your results will be disaterious
real bad orange peel, wrinkling, runs

ive used sata, devilbis, transtar, sharp, and iwatta, and ive come to the conclusion that it matters how clean the gun is and how you maintain it. if your only painting a couple things, a cheap $100 gun will put out just as good a job as a $500 one

that compressor is small...but for only doing a small part it should be ok.

So if I decided to pain the entire car I'd have to move up to a 50 gal tank or so?
