Default check out my new painted ls6 intake

Pretty much my 1st mod- performance wise, besides a cutout. Knock sensors went out so i figured it was the best time to upgrade to the ls6. Also figured before i put it on i should just go ahead and paint it. I have kind of a red and silver theme going on so i wanted something along those lines. I did alot of sanding on this intake and got a shop to paint it for 50 bux. I think its pretty classy lookin- nothing wild- but a little different with the silver stripes. Just thought id show it off a little.. and i know, i know i need a lid, thats next.

Looks good and... bright, lol. But it does look good. Now you just need other stuff to accent the intake.

Don't get the clear lid. You will regret it. They are poorly made. Stick with something like SLP, stuff like that that isn't clear. A lot of people have had problems with the tabs starting to crack and stuff.

Looks good, I think the slp lid would show it off, and of course,.... you. know it never ends. LOL

Obviously you've never seen a clear ftp lid in person.. they are very bendable and pliable like rubbermaid almost. Perfect fitment as well.

MTI makes the best lid for the stock MAF. It's dyno proven. And I haven't had any problems out of my clear lid and I've had it for about 3 years now. Taken it off many times.
