Regardless or grammar, you all can have a debate over techniques without getting personal or nasty with it. I suggest you start another thread for that
however and leave this one for the OP's build.

went to town with a flat board and a bunch of 80 grit today. This is my 5th ltx/lsx f-body and I have always been disgusted by how wavy the panels are from the factory, holy crap they are bad.

I hear you on these cars being insane wavy from the factory. Talk about lumpy. Looks like your on the right track though. Its gonna turn out great i'm sure. Maybe I missed it earlier but what color are you going with???

And since everyones sharing pictures of their rebuilds... Here's a few just to give you some encouragement and incentive. Good luck!

...Primed and blocked mine 3 times I believe.

got my pic uploaded, those pics are good motivation!

Still undecided on the paint brand and color. Pretty sure its going to be a shade of silver close to stock, but maybe a shade darker

Hahaha funny thing is I have a rebuild thread on here too. Haven't had much time to update or do much lately though, but I'll be getting back to it here in a few days. All the cars in this thread look good so far

didnt get any pics today, heres what I have accomplished in the past 2 weeks

Doors are over half done sanding and ready to come off the car
both 1/4s are about 75% done with smoothing, they were BAD its been a hell of alot of work
rear panel was sanded, letters filled and key hole filled, thats ready for final quick sand, and prime

have basically all the paint and materials here, just need it to warm up some more so I can lay down some primer

as a owner of a 94 that has almost the same amount of damage to the exact same spot, i am very happy to see someone go through with this work and inspire me to keep the whats known in the circle of friends as "huge piece of ****" and rebuild it BETTER than its ever been seen.

Can you post up more details? like amount of time on what task, prices for supplies and such... would help out alot of people

Time, wow its alot. I would say im probably close to 200 hours so far, cost wise i suppose including the paint and sandpaper im around $700 now. This car had alot of small damage aside from just the 1/4, i hammered out alot of small dings and have been smoothing the 1/4s for 2 days, but they should be like glass when im done
