hey guys i was wondering if any of you had dealt with Suncoast Creations hoods such as the WS6 hood? if so was the fit good? quality of the hood good? just looking for some info, i did a search and couldnt find anything. i was wanting to get a WS6 style hood & i saw their website so i just thought i would ask. so hopefully someone will chime in.

I have their Raptor hood on my Formula and I'm pretty happy with the quality and fit. The ram air scoops on their ws6 hoods are a slightly different shape from OEM which has always made them look kind of funny to me though.

i wonder if i should just spend the $1500 for a new OEM replacement? do the OEM hoods fit better than the aftermarket ones?

In my experience the OEM WS6 hood I used to have on my TA had the best fitment. It fit better than the aftermarket WS6 hood I used to have on the TA and the aftermarket hoods I currently have on my Formula and TA.

my friend has one on his white TA, as stated the nostrils are different but fitment/quality is great

haha i highly doubt i would buy the oem man, i was just wondering how the aftermarket ones fit compared to the oem. im just its not as good as oem but yeah im not going to spend $1500 on the oem replacement lol

i have a suncoast box for sale, i did notice a small power gain over just a lid. i had their ws6 hood and no issues other than a little bubbling, but i wasnt original buyer so i have no idea who painted it or how old it really was, but i would get another one.

I have had the raptor hood for going on 9 yrs now. Fitment is good (not perfect) and it has held up well. As mentioned, their airbox improves airflow with their hoods because of the way that air is routed thru the nostrils...so if you get a suncoast hood, I would pick up the airbox as well (or a volant would work too).

Owner of a suncoas ws6 hood. Quality is pretty good imo. The nostrils are square shape but its complimented by higher than stock cowls which make the hood more aggressive than stock. I love it.
