How much would it cost to paint a red car black? Hey, I'm going to go get my car,2001 camaro ss, quoted tomorrow to get painted black. The car has no damage excepts a few door bumps. How much should I expect to pay?I would like to know bso that I know I am getting the right price.

In order to change the color completely, the whole car will have to be taken apart.
Lots of Labor involved. Depending on how good the shop is and how nice of a paint Job you want... It could be anywhere from $ 2500 to whatever your budget will allow.
Do your homework, ask ??? about warranties and check the local BBB or any references you can find. Good Luck

If you actually can find someone who will do a complete color change for $5k with materials call me, Im going to start sending them my work.
An average exterior respray around here is about $6k, jambs probably add another 1500-2000 with the labor and material. Thats with almost no bodywork, nothing more than a few door dings
