Yes try to put the layers of paint as evenly as possible, and wait 10 minutes to dry for each layer. I put around 5 layers and

I still found a couple of lighter spots. As well do not spray the can too close or else you will have run ons of plastidip. Give

it like 6 to 8 inches apart from the rim and spray that sucker evenly! So what I did was touch up here and there till no

chrome showed in the sun, you can't screw the paint job up trust me XD matte black is a very forgiving paint that evens out

the same color as the rest of the rims even if you got 5 coats on one side and 8 coats on the other side, you can't tell the

difference, but otherwise just do even coats! Do it in the sunlight so you can see if the color of the rim is still visible, and

btw it would dry much faster in the sunlight then in the night breeze! This took me 3hrs to do it right, so give yourself some

time before it gets dark. Oh and use the flashcard method, instead of taking the wheel off XD. See my first pic above!

Another important thing for you to know is to make sure the inner side of your spokes gets evenly coated, cause it was a

pain in the butt to get my z06 c6 wheels to paint the inner side of my spokes since I did not have a jack to rotate the wheel

which would of been much easier. I had to get on the floor at an angle to get all the spokes inner sides painted XD. Good

luck and post your picks, want to see your masterpiece!
