Plasti dip my rims?

Plasti dip my rims? Hi I want to plasti dip my rims, I am just wondering if I can do it without taking off the wheels..obviously I don't want it to get on the brakes.

i have actually thought about murdering out my entire mustang in black plastidip...or the satin gunmetal plastidip on the body and the satin black on my welds..

take em off. save yourself the heartache
clean off real good with regular soap and water
then take a green pad and scrub them down (use sandpaper for the bad parts on the wheel)
clean off again with water
spray dry with air compressor or even keyboard cleaner. do not rub dry or let them air dry because this will leave particles on the rim
use index cards and place them, under the lip to keep it off the rubber
give them 4-7 coats and make sure you hiit every spot. hit the curb rash areas a little heavier because this stuff acts like a filler as well
let dry for 8 hours before you drive.
1 week before you wash.
when washing do not use brushes. use mircofiber towel. be careful around the edges and corners or your will peel it off and have to do this all over like what im doing tonight

Click on the link, I plastidipped my chrome z06 rims check it out! Don't need to take off the wheel, buy some flash cards from a dollar store and put it around the insert between the rim and tire, I got picks check it out. Btw make sure you do even coats, I put 5 coats on each rim XD used only 4 cans! Oh and I used a piece of news paper to cover the calipers!
