Default Taking off front bumper help(4th gen camaro)

Hey guys,

Buddy of mine bought a nice camaro SS. Previous owner had someone hit and run while he was in a store shopping. The bumper is toast with a few splits and peeling clear coat. We went ahead and got one off a part out for $100 (same color).

Is there any steps as to how to take it off? obviously start with removing headlights and turn signals but I just dont want to get half into it and get stuck.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Headlights stay on. is it the 93-97 style or 1998-2002 style ? There are some hidden screws on the 93-97 style that have to be unscrewed from the bottom directly under the head lights, Small 7mm. Four or them. Signals can stay on as long as the wire connector is disconnected from the turn signal.

Sorry for not specifying, its a 2000 SS.
I noticed also what looks like a vertical splash shield. Is that gonna need to be removed also?

Really easy man, just remove the brackets holding front bumber onto fender, remove push pins from under the bumper and by the the hood latch. After that is should slide right off. Took me like 3020 minutes to remove mine.

Don't forget about the bolts that hold the bumper to the fenders way up in the top of the bumper/fender. Do yourself a favor and get some blue painter's tape and tape all the edges where you will be sliding under the headlights and where all the edges come together at the bumper/fender. Take the tape off when you've got the bumper into position and ready to bolt it up. This will save on scratches etc. When removing/installing you kind of have to rotate the bumper off of the car and vice versa when putting it on. Hope that makes sense. Anyways good luck and take your time.
