Default How to remove exterior moulding on rear quarter of convertible?

Hi guys,
I have a 1995 camaro z28 convertible. It's in the body shop for a complete paint job. There is a moulding along the top of the rear quarter panel adjacent to the convertible top. The body shop was able to remove one screw from the inside but the other screw is under the top attachment? That's what they said...
Is there an easy way to remove the moulding so the quarter can be painted properly instead of bridging the paint from the moulding onto the quarter.
Do they have to remove the top?
Please respond as its in the shop and hits the paint tomorrow or Wednesday.
Thanks!
