Tru Fiber Hood Struts

I remember reading that you had to get softer hood struts for use with the TruFiber hoods...couldn't find anything in the search...anyone know?

I've read that VFN makes hood struts for fiberglass hoods. Scroll down and you will see them!

I got my "softer" hood struts from autozone. I can close my WS6 hood with very little pressure.

I got my new hood struts for my Trufiber hood from VFN. My only complaint is that my hood sticks up farther than the factory struts, but I didn't want to worry about stress cracks in my new hood.
