Default 5/8" stretched qtrs.

So I've been building this car for about a year. Ly6 turbo, I have a build thread over in the forced induction section. Anyways it's almost done so it time to start on body work and paint.
I was able to stretch my qtrs out an extra 5/8" then I blended out to give it a wide body look. Similar to Sunoco but more subtle and not quite as wide. I'll post pics as I make progress on the car. Car is being painted SOM FYI.

Nice job on the fenders. I bet you'd have to park it next to another car to be able to tell, but that's the best kind of mods, ones that just look natural and don't jump out at you.

Yep here you go. And what I did was roll the lip as usual then I hammer it out with a 3lb hammer going back and forth until I had it where I wanted it. I'm an experience body man so it was quite easy to do but I wouldn't suggest it for a hobbyist. Name: 5068C2A5-1C3F-4280-8CDE-7F1F90AA2918_zpsa3q6hjdi.jpg

Also there isn't much filler on it. It's just a light skim coat of glaze.

Happy to hear that from you. You have one amazing looking car man. It's so easy to see how much you care about your car. So much time invested in the small tasteful additions.

The body work and paint will begin here in the next couple of weeks, I had to stop to finish the drivetrain part of this build and it is almost complete. First start was last night

Looks good! I would suggest welding up the antenna hole. I did my TA couple weeks ago.
