Default Getting a new paint job--is there anyway to enhance my SOM paint?

I have a 2002 SOM Z28 and it will be repainted within the next three months. I want to keep the same color, but I also want to make it look better than the factory SOM without adding graphics and stripes. What are some of the paint techniques that a good body shop can do to make SOM look better? Thanks in advance for the info.

maybe tweak the color slightly. you could add more metal flake to it, or even a pearlescent finish.

Add more pearl, look up what it calls for in the mixture of it and add more to it.

The enigne i our Mustang is Tangelo Pearl. The only good picture I have showing the color is the oil pan. It's a little dirty because it rained on the way back from a car show

A little more flake would make it look good. I'd stay away from the pearl though. The problem being that if you ever need to repaint one of the body panels it's going to be a bitch to get it to match up.

****, don't mess with the color. lay it down right bury it in clear and have it with no orange peel. I consider that tweaked enough

lay a base coat of white before your top coat and it will make the color pop more..
