I had to remove my passenger side wiper do to space requirements and now I'm trying to get just the driver side wiper to work. After cutting and welding the linkage a **** load of times I finally managed to get the motor hooked directly to the driver side wiper with one of the rods that I cut down to about 7 inches. Without the wiper arm on the part that turns it the motor and linkage works perfectly every time and returns to the correct position without binding. When I put the wiper on though it throws the rod off when trying to return to the down position. Has anyone removed their passenger wiper and found a way to keep the driver side wiper? If this is the wrong section for this then sorry. Thanks in advance.
