i dont believe there is because hot rods used matte flat black

just curous,because i googled flat black and matte black also came up,and to me matte looked glossier

Different amounts of flattener added to the clear gives you different amount of reflectivity or gloss. There are differnent names for each step. Gloss, semi gloss,egg shell, matte, and flat. This is how RM company explains in their manuals. I've done different spray offs with their products adjusting the amounts of flattener. So my customers can decide which they would prefer.

Gloss, semi gloss,egg shell, matte, and flat...i want a little gloss,i dont want it to look like primer,so i guess matte?
