with the chambers opened up to a 4" bore, would that hurt a little with the stock ls1 displacement? Like should these be used for bigger cube engines?

No, this is actually one of the enhancements for the heads, it 'unshrouds' the valves more and lets the air move out of the throat easier into the bore. Mamo recommeneded this mod to me for even the smaller bore LS1's, hence the ad description.

Bump for a good price.

Thanks
The more pics I post the more questions I get, I just wanted everyone to see what it is they are buying. No secrets here, and no dis-appointments. These are Ready To Go!

Question 1: The valve images shown are to illustrate that the valves and seats were lapped together with a 600 grit lapping compound. Common test to 'visualize' the valve job is good, which it is (less than 2000 miles on the heads)

Question 2: These are the orginal AFR valves, they are in Excellent shape. The only additional work that has been performed is the exhaust valves have had a 32* backcut angle faced in. The 'stock' AFR exhaust valves do not come this way. It is an enhancement to the valve job.

Question #3: The springs are an upgrade to the stock AFR valve springs, they have a little more seat pressure and a little more Open pressure by comparison to the stock AFR springs. This translates to better valve control at higher RPM's. The spring is normally good to .650" lift. @ 1.800" installed heights. They are installed @ 1.750" heights to give them the most pressure available and can handle a .620" gross lift camshaft with having .070" clearance before coil bind.

FYI guys, great questions, keep them coming. These heads have several of the mods that Tony Mamo would perform himself when upgrading a set of these. They are in very nice condition and ready to install on your engine. I don't sell junk!

Trick Flow 215 heads chambers measured for width..

3.975" side to side

AFR 205 chambers measured for width.

3.987" side to side - that is only .015". Go and get a feeler gauge and look at a .015" blade. Doesn't account for much. So Yes, they work on small bore LS1's, just like a TFS 215 will.
