Not sure, but I didn't think age had anything an effect on performance. I mean they don't wear out.

You can run them in parallel so that the amp sees a 4 ohm load. Pretty standard, so these will work if you're after 4 ohm.

I'm willing to negotiate on price with multiple items purchased, but $1500 is a good ways off from $1950 which is what everything adds up to be.
