RED Darton dry sleeved block

1 Attachment(s)
I have a customer in Pa. with one of my brand new sleeved 5.3 L aluminum truck blocks for sale. The block was intended for a 427" turbo application. Sleeved with Darton Seal Tight dry liners, rough bored to 4.120" for finish honing to 4.125". Main caps are doweled to the block.

The Darton dry liners will go out to 4.185" bore normally aspirated and with 4.125" crank one can build a 454" engine.

5.3 and 6L aluminum truck blocks have solid main bearing webs making them stronger than the vented main webs in other LS blocks.

Comes with a set of ARP main studs and ARP 2000 head studs, the book "How to Build and Modify GM LS Series Engines" and shipping crate.

$3,200 OBO.

Reason for sale is another project too good to pass up.

Contact Ted Brine htb001@gmail.com or you can contact me via PM if you have any questions about the block.
