Up for sale is a complete one off turbo system for the RX7 FD with LSx swap. It was professionally designed and fabricated over a four month period by THE premier LSx Race Engine Builder in the Country- VA Speed. While it employs all the components of a High End Race Turbo System, there is no major modification required for its installation. Also, the design was well thought out in that spark plugs and other system components are easily accessed with simple hand tools and removeable without pulling or lifting the engine.
This is the most extreme and well designed system that has ever been offered for the RX7 FD. It is available NOW, ready to bolt onto your FD- No waiting 4+months to hope for the best with another shops first try.
It consists of the following components:
•No turbo - you supply your choice of T6 turbo (88mm-114mm will fit)
•Turbo Brace- secures turbo to frame rail
•1800+hp rated Air to Water Intercooler
•Custom Fabricated Aluminum 10 gallon water tank with Internal High Flow Pump for Intercooler (Mounts in trunk area) –Has Feed and Return Bungs and Drain Bung with Manual Valve
•ProCharger Red Race Valve and Turbo Smart Race Port 60mm BOV
•E-Boost 2 electronic boost controller
•3.5” Aluminum Cold Side Piping w/T-bolts and Silicon Couplers
•True 5” Down Pipe Section with 5” V-band and DEI Heat Wrap (Will clear with Samburg Subframe and possibly Hinson) -Dumps at bellhousing
•Custom CNC’d water neck for Fbody Water pump
•Hand Made Stainless Turbo Headers w/V-bands –Will clear 6 bolt heads
•Hand Made Stainless 2.5” Crossover w/Precision 80mm WG and 2” Stainelss Dump Pipe
•Custom Made Aluminum Radiator with Triple Fan Setup
•Custom Stainless Radiator pipes w/Silicone couplers and T-bolts
This kit is in excellent condition with only minimal dyno time and under 50 street miles while performing drivability tuning.
Horse power will depend on your choice of turbo. Anywhere from 1000rwhp to 3000rwhp is possible with this system. This system with a 106mm turbo on my LSX made 1100rwhp and 1100rwtq on only 15psi. Purchase this system and never need to upgrade down the road!
It was fabricated on an LSX Tall Deck block. Standard LS blocks may require minor modification to crossover pipe which can be done by any exhaust shop or welder.
This took many months of fabrication and R&D time to result in this finished and tested system. It is available NOW, to you in a fully tried and true setup with no wait time, headache, or guesswork!
I have decided to go another route with my build due to a new addition to our family.
Asking only $4499 shipped. The long downpipe section which connects after the engine subframe and to the muffler will need to be picked up or fabricated by your local exhaust shop; it is much too large and odd shaped to ship. Pickup is welcome.
The design and compactness of this system may well fit in other conversion cars, especially classic cars and older cars.
The radiator may require some inner bumper trimming modification. Also, minor welding may be required to attach brackets and tabs to your frame.
No trades or payments

This is a nice set up and while I dont doubt for a minute that if you paid someone to make this set up it would cost that much I have seen similar kits sell for much less. My advice would be to lower the price if you would like to create more interest. People would also like to see this kit installed in the car so adding pictures of that set up would help- any dyno numbers you created with XX turbo and XX psi would also help.

I have a thread in the forced induction section. Check out pics and info there. Yes I have a few Hinson parts but mostly Samberg Rod and Customs Conversion parts.
