FLT Level 4 4L60E | FTI SRL 4000 Billet Lockup Stall Converter (Less than 1000 Miles)
Category: Drivetrain
Price: $1700
Location (State): UT
Item Condition: Used
Shipping Information: Item Can be Shipped
Engine: LS2/LS3/LS7/L92/LS9, LS1/LS6
LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine
I'm selling an FLT Level 4 4L60E and FTI 4000 Stall Converter to try and get some funds for a new project. This combination has less than 1000 miles and exactly 3 quarter mile passes.
The transmission is simply amazing. My car made just over 460 RWHP and this transmission never skipped a beat. Chuck stated it would likely hold up to a nice 150 shot of nitrous too. I never got to that point, so I can't say, but I can't say enough good things about this build. Shifts were quick and firm and if not for the need for money, I'd be hanging onto it.
This build would cost you roughly $1900 plus shipping (usually at least $100) for a new one. My asking price is $1700 shipped, but I am open to offers. Please don't try to low ball me either. Anyone with an FLT build knows that these are killer setups.
Attached to this post is my invoice from FLT. For details on internals, please see their website for Level 4 builds at:
http://www.finishlinetrans.com/trans...Stripe4L60.htm
As for the converter. It's flat out nasty. This converter will flash to roughly 4200 and brake stall right at 4000. I thought it'd be much looser on the street, but even with 3.42 gears, it was very street friendly. Greg builds a damn good converter. Beware though... this thing hits hard. It's not for the faint of heart.
This converter is roughly $750 new. I'll take $600 shipped and am open to offers. Again, please don't low ball me here. This converter really is like new, and flat out kicks ***!
I will sell the transmission and converter combination for $2200 shipped.
If the buyer is interested, I will also provide them with my transmission tune.
Please PM me if you have any questions or want to make an offer.

Some people have requested a bit of paperwork on the build so I updated the original post with the invoice from FLT to show this purchase was indeed made through them. For details on internals, please see their website for Level 4 builds at:

As stated in the thread title and in the first post... this is an FTI Converter. They are a sponsor on the site and build a very high quality converter. http://fticonverters.com

I'm willing to make someone a good deal on this stuff for the RIGHT offer. For all you people that are offering me close to HALF what I paid... please get real.
For everyone else that's shown SERIOUS interest... thank you.
Sending PM's to those that asked questions now.

maybe you are getting lower offers because it is a used transmission you have to look at it through the buyers eyes can buy a new one for 1900 you want 1700 it is used why are you taking it out and selling it if its only got a thousand miles on itso basically you're saving a couple hundred dollars and the shipping price on taking a chance on a transmission that is used...I'm sorry and I'm sure others are too if the offers offended you but it is used

You're right, the transmission is used. However, I think the majority of FLT customers on here will tell you that even after thousands of miles, their transmission still works as good as it did at mile number 1... and there's no chance it's value decreased by almost half in under 1000 miles.
Don't get me wrong. I appreciate your willingness to make an offer, but if you had any idea just how good of a transmission this was, you wouldn't have made an offer like that.
As to why I'm selling it, well it's time to upgrade to something that I can reliably run a transbrake in... and I don't feel comfortable using a brake in a 4l60e.
You're welcome to PM if you want to discuss this further, but please don't trash my thread.
