hm, i cant find anything on the first numbers you posted, but i think the later is an ls6 block. does it take the equal length headbolts? or the short/med/long ones?

ok studs then...were they all the equal length ones? or do they have head bolt/stud holes that go deep into the block?

not trying to say its something that wont make power, ive seen lots on your car, and know its a good block. tossing around the idea of doing an erl sleeved block and not sure if they like the ones with the deep head bolt/stud holes...
basically
just wanting to figure out the year of it...01-03 or the 04 block...
the early ones had the short/med/long bolts
the later ones had just the shorts/mediums...

Better check with ERL first. I heard they dont take ls1/ls6 blocks anymore. Everybody is sending them ls2 and aluminum 5.3 blocks
