I bought these from Lindy Tools this year to notch my LS2 pistons. I bought the pair of shafts to make the job quicker.
They are designed for stock exhaust 1.57" valve diameter, and for 2.055" intake valves. They have a built in radius to cut radial clearance, and are able to be disassembled for easy shipping, and can be sharpened by any blade shop. Paid $230 + ship IIRC
Used on one engine and worked flawlessly. You simply turn by hand using a tap handle and they cut very quickly. Do not use a power tool it will cut too fast and will heat up and dull the blades.
Couldn't believe how easy it was in the end as I was quite concerned that this would be a difficult DIY maneuver...not!
