Not questioning the seller so don't take it that way. For starters, he said they came off a C5. Only the Z06 had the LS6 with 243 heads. I know the LS2 had the same heads without the valves but he didn't say they came off an LS2 or a C6 Corvette. So that's why I asked.
And I have never heard of the 243 heads coming on 5.3L/4.8L engines. Not saying they didn't but I have never heard that. Wouldn't the compression ratio drop even more on a 5.3L with 243 heads?

Thanks. Wasn't trying to stir the pot. I'm always willing to learn something new. I know the LS6 came in a couple other cars but didn't know the 243 heads were used on other engines other than the LS2. I'm curious about it as i want a set of those heads for my 97' C5 LS1/6 speed. I want to do heads and cam but it's coming down to finding a reasonable priced set of heads. the above price is fine if he was local but shipping is the deal breaker. I have an extra set of 5.3L heads I may just do a light port/polish on and run those.

no problems here, it's all good. lots of interest but lots of low offers. Price is pretty firm, and wish you were closer too cause these locals here are all offering $200!! lol ridiculous! I got $450 in them and i'm just trying to break even, not trying to make $$$ of them.
