(Sold) Local MI: Moser 12-bolt rear end Category: Drivetrain

Moser 12-bolt complete rear axle assembly 4th Gen width. This axle was spec'ed out for a 1995 Trans Am. It is a direct bolt in for 1982-2002 F-bodies. I have this mounted in my '87 Firebird project car. Axle has less than 10 miles on it though it has been under my project for several years. Axle was broken in per Moser direction at time of original purchase.
It does not have the ABS relucter rings mounted. I didn't need them for my '87.
Moser 12-bolt housing with F-body suspension mounts
Ford 9" style bolt in bearing ends (no c-clips!)
33-spline axles
Tratech Trutrac differential (road race posi, no clutches to wear out)
1350 pinion yoke
3.73 Gear ratio
LT1 style rear disk brakes also included
Also included is a Spohn heavy duty, high speed balanced driveshaft with the larger 1350 u-joints.
I would like $1900 plus your old axle so I can keep my project a roller. Local pick-up only. Davisburg MI 48350.

Yes, but you will be giving up ABS and your larger rear brakes. You can pull the axles out and have an ABS relucter ring and your backing plates pressed on as an option.
