This is a Trans Dapt bellhousing adapter that allows a BOP Buick olds Pontiac transmission to be bolted to a Chevy engine. Works good with the LS engines also as it will use the top most bell bolt ! It is a nice heavy duty plate that is apprx 5/16 thick and will not flex like some of those other thin (1/8") plates. I made 4 shallow divots on the back of the plate to clear the bolts of a rear reluctor cover on the Chevy LS engines. I couldn't use the plate b/c trans clearance is so tight that I didn't have that extra 5/16" clearance so I have to buck up and buy a Chevy trans. This is a nice piece and was close to 80.00 new. All hardware it there and its ready to go.
