Default Custom Low-Mount A/C setup (Compressor + Bracket) PRICE REDUCED!

Category: Accessories
Price: $200
Location (State): AL
Item Condition: Brand New
LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine

Up for sale is a custom low-mount A/C compressor setup I put together. Consider this a prototype because I have not yet tested it myself. This setup consists of a modified CTS-V A/C bracket and a modified truck A/C compressor. The bracket was purchased new. I took the compressor off of a totaled Express van with less than 1,000 miles and made a cover to seal off the inlet and outlet, so the compressor is practically new.

Both the bracket and compressor have been ground down and clearanced to fit as snugly as possible. They still have some purple machinist dye from where I marked them.

When assembled, the A/C compressor lines up with the Corvette/Cadillac/CTS-V belt spacing.

The bracket itself bolts to the block using 3 bolts.

The A/C compressor bolts to the bracket using 3 bolts. Two of the bolts are the larger normal-sized factory bolts, and the rear bolt is a 1/4" bolt that threads in through the back of the bracket into a threaded boss in the compressor. (Many A/C compressor bolt up using 3 bolts so I think this will be fine.)

I designed this kit to give maximum crossmember clearance, however, it will not clear the SBC-style motor mount with standard SBC-to-LS motor mount plates in place. It should work with a variety of other motor mounts, including stock LS mounts.

If you install it and it does not function properly, ship it back and I will refund your money!

Please email me with any other questions.

Price is $200 OBO

I'd be interested in it but it's kind of hard to invest in something that hasn't been tested... Plus no refunds???

PM me if you're seriously interested.

I really think it will work fine but I just don't have the means to test it. If it doesn't install correctly you can return it and get your money back.

It's not any lower. Lower would be closer to the subframe, and that's what I was trying to stay away from! The compressor is located in the same place, but the bottom, rear, and passenger side of the bracket/compressor have been trimmed away for more clearance around the bottom and passenger side of the engine where it would normally interfere with the subframe.

Pretty sure this is the last bump before eBay. Getting tired of this sitting around the house. Reasonable offers welcome!
