A change in project direction allows for sale of this brand new, still in the bag (with all the stickers!) custom 3-bolt camshaft from Comp Cams. I spec'd this to work well with stock, or ported stock, cathedral port cylinder heads. You are going to want to add a bit of gear (3.42+) and converter (3200+) to get the most out of it.

There is more about the rationale in the design here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...l#post17860784

But, basically the LXL lobes will do really well for any daily driver-type build. It could also work well with boost, or a small shot of nitrous (like I had planned).

In case you couldn't read the cam card (the lobe catalogue said that it was a 226* lobe, cam card says 227* - no big deal):

LOL... thanks guys. Weird it hasn't sold yet. Might just buy a JY 4.8L and shove it in and turbo it, make a lamp out of it, or use it as a door stop.

While the thread in general is helpful with many suggestions.. I am wondering which of these listed cams will actually be good for a 383ci LS1 stroker? I put in a Big ***** Thumpr forever ago and it was a right pain to dial in and I believe it's part of my ongoing issues with other bits and bobs so looking to ditch it to the firey pits of hell where it belongs.. in turn I dont' want to buy something that's a great cam.. for a 346ci setup which will just give me grief again due to being a stroker.

Any help for that would be great.
