What is the purpose of this kit?
I have a 4L80E swapped into my Z and was told it could use a vacuum modulator to help with downshifting .
I'm still trying to figure out what that's all about.

Sorry, just saw this now.
Is your trans not currently run by an ecu? What is the setup and issues your having?
The main purpose is to take line pressure control away from the ecu to eliminate possible trans failures from low line pressure. Also for non electronically controlled trannys, and in forced induction cars to ensure the trans gets full line pressure under boost.
