4L80 trans with a Stage III kit from Jake's Performance.
This trans was NOT built by Jake's Performance, I just bought his parts and built it myself.
While I'm not a legit "transmission builder" I've been building my own TH400 and 4L80e's with success for my race trucks for about 6 years now. This one has only seen one season (about 6 races) behind a 550hp 408 in a 3800lbs truck. So I'd say it's almost broken in.

It currently has a 4wd output on it but I'll make it 2wd for an extra $200 and while I'm in there I'll double check everything.

It's full manual forward pattern with Jake's modified valvebody and wiring harness. No electronics needed to run it, just a 12 volt power and ground. Shift it by the stick like normal.

From Jake's site:
The Street/Strip (Stage 2) 4L80E includes all new friction materials, steels, bands, rollerized forward hub, rollerized output shaft thrust, heavy duty intermediate snap ring, 6 clutch direct pack, Hi-Energy carbon clutches in select locations, hydraulic modifications for much increased power capacity and firmer shifting. All 4L80Es also include a new boost valve assembly, new shift solenoids, manifold pressure switch, internal wiring, as applicable.
Stage 3
The Stage 3 build has the billet input shaft and forward hub for applications above 750 HP. This build will handle well over 1000 HP assuming moderate RPM range (less than 7000 rpm), average or lighter weight vehicle, and no large N2O usage.
