What I have for sale is the 2005 SBE 5.3 long block I had in my car. The motor had 80k Mi when pulled and 2-3k with boost. The motor makes great power and runs very well. It is being sold as is, as a long block. Motor will come with front cover, rear cover, and valve covers. No Oil pan or LS6 Valley cover included. I am listing everything that is inside the motor, everything was new when installed 2-3k mi ago.
$1800.00 Picked Up or will ship at buyers expense.

-Yank PA3600, Th-400 to ls1 converter.
I also have for sale the Yank Converter that was with this motor. Converter is a great choice for SBE setups. Handled the power great on 16LBS of boost it was @10% slip. Had Multiple 1.33 60s leaving @ 4000RPM on 8lbs, car was around 3600lb race weight. $500 OBO[/QUOTE]

thats incorrect, its a gen IV block that started in 05 for the 5.3's. Head Studs are equal length, has the better rods and floating pin pistons. Gen III 5.3 came with unequal length head bolts and weaker rods. Please disregard previous comment. Thanks

Yeah it's a crossover block, it shares the 04+ equal length head bolts but still had top mounted knock sensors..

There's some 04' engines that didn't get the equal length head studs and got the 03 and under different length studs

GM did running changes mid year on some engines..

Anyway free bump
